Everyone Creates Content With Chat GPT. Now What?

I came across Chat GPT a few years ago when it was still in its beta version. We even gave it a name - Gepetto, the machine with an Italian heritage.

The first time I generated content with Gepetto, it was clear: he is not better than me. 

Publishing a generated article without a substantial amount of proofreading was not feasible.

Quite often Gepetto had logical problems in his content, for example:

“If you have a problem with your boyfriend, discuss it with your husband”. 

Oh boy, Gepetto used to give tons of harmful advice (at least before the company invested in human proofreaders to filter traumatic content and improved its technology). 

Years later, OpenAI released several updates to ChatGPT, making it available in all languages and challenging my notion that content marketers will always be indispensable cries in marketing.

Anyone can generate content with Chat GPT, making the SEO race even more exhausting. Now what?

Believe it or not, readers can distinguish between generic and genuinely useful content. In this article, you will find tips to diversify your content strategy and enhance your SEO performance in the vast ocean of Chat GPT-generated content.

Active online communities/forums have the power to attract a steady stream of visitors who are genuinely interested in the discussions, knowledge sharing, and interactions taking place within the community.

As a result, your website experiences a notable increase in traffic, which can have a transformative impact on your overall website performance.

While your website may not transform into Reddit overnight, providing a space for your users to connect is a good starting point for improving your positioning on Google.

Video and Audio Content

Instead of linking to a YouTube video, you can embed the video into your article. This way your visitors can watch it without leaving the page, ultimately increasing the time spent on the website.

If your company has a podcast, first of all, well done! Secondly, don't just share it on Spotify and Apple Music. Keep your podcast on your website as well, allowing visitors to access it directly. Users who don’t have popular subscriptions will really appreciate it.

Hear me out, I'm a big fan of Chat GPT, and there isn't a single working day that I stay away from it.

But, oh God, I'm tired of the generic content flooding the Internet, and I'm genuinely glad there're numerous other ways to provide value, be helpful and creative.

Yes, everyone is creating content with Chat GPT, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. As long as users can distinguish between bad and good content, we're safe.
